Jussie Smollett (born June 21, 1982) is an American Actor, Singer, Director, and Photographer from Santa Rosa, California. He is famous acting in the Fox drama series “Empire” in 2015. Furthermore, the 36-year-old actor played the role of musician Jamal Lyon.
He began his career as a child artist and started in films The Mighty Ducks (1992) and Rob Reiner’s North (1994). Moreover, Smollett portrayed the lead role in the show “The Skinny” in 2012.

Recently, on January 29, 2019, the actor allegedly attacked in Chicago. He told the police that he was attacked outside his apartment building. The incident happened when he was returning home.
In addition, two men in ski masks made racial and homophobic slurs. They drained an unknown liquid on the singer and put a noose around his neck. Later, Jussie admitted himself to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
