If you’ve ever watched CMT’s Party Down South, you’ll know that the cast loves to, well, party! Although the show is based around a group of southerners having a good time, we do have some bad news to share.

One of the stars of the show has recently passed away at the young age of 42.

TMZ reported that Joshua Tharpe, who appeared as a guest star on the CMT show Party Down South, passed away in his Baton Rouge, LA home at the age of 42.

According to his brother, Billy, Josh was found on March 7 by his mother.

His passing comes as a surprise to everyone, and his brother said he seemed just fine days before.

Billy told TMZ that Josh had spent the day going to church and hanging out with his mom on Sunday, March 6. He later went by a friend’s house where he decided to stay the night. He went home to collect some of his belongings but never returned to his friend’s home.

When his friend didn’t hear from him the next day, she contacted his mother who went to check on Josh.

Unfortunately, that is where she found her son on his kitchen floor.

According to Josh’s brother, the coroner declared Josh dead from a heart attack.

Josh had experienced a heart attack last year, but he recovered quickly and with little issue.
